Band Boosters

The Jesse Bethel Band Booster is the official volunteer organization supporting the Jesse Bethel High School Band, Drumline and Colorguard programs. The Booster is mainly comprised of parent-based group and our main purpose is to provide management, raise funds for operating and equipment expenses, chaperoning to competitions and trips, organizing social events and maintaining a quality Band program.

Parents with kids in the band, drumline or colorguard are automatically Jesse Bethel Boosters. Supporting an award winning program takes a LOT of volunteers! The program cannot continue to thrive without the assistance of the Boosters. Naturally, the more boosters that volunteer, the more we can help the band and the less burden any single booster will have to bear. MANY HANDS MAKE LIGHT WORK!

The Boosters are governed by an Executive Board that meets regularly to plan and manage the business affairs of this non-profit organization. A monthly Booster meeting is open to all Band parents, alumni parents and interested individuals, and is generally held every second Thursday of every month starting at 6:30 p.m. in the Band Room. All Boosters are encouraged to attend the meeting and to get involved in the Band Program. The meeting is also an opportunity to meet and socialize with other Band parents and ask questions of the Band Director.

As many of you know, the State no longer funds the music program and therefore the majority of support comes from our dedicated volunteers and generous sponsors. The Band has grown significantly and in order to maintain the quality of the Program we need everyone's help and support. We are proud to step forward and keep this magnificent program alive to represent our community and showcase the talent of our kids. With ongoing parental support we will continue to provide an opportunity for our students to participate and be part of this distinguished Band program.
